1. Beatz was born from a Nocturnal Howler mother and a pegasi father. When a howler is born, their tail is limp and almost floppy; that's because their muscle hadn't fully developed. Although she was "deformed", she looked like a "blessed howler" according to her pack. Whenever a howler is born, any accessory is given to them to claim them as a part of the pack. Even though her earrings looked quite normal, they were made of quartz that were specifically used for those earrings; the accessories differentiate in between packs. Even though she was born with big, fluffy wings, she can't fly at all. She can glide easily and what she likes about her wings is how easy she can cover herself completely when flustered.

2. New born howlers sleep on the branches and in the trees. Taking advantage of their limp tail, they curl them to cocoon themselves or, like Beatz, hang upside down. Beatz took advantage of her wings and covered herself when she sleeps, giving her warmth (sometimes even a lot of warmth) and even hides herself from predators who feed on baby howlers. Every newborn is taken away from the tired mother for a month or so, taking care of it and giving it anything it needs. The birth of a howler is already deadly as it is and giving birth to a hybrid is twice the pain; so her mother had to be taken care of heavily for 3 months, which caused Beatz to spend the first 3 months of her life with other baby howlers and sometimes even her father.

3. Beatz had spend her first months with her care taker and in return, she had learned how to catch food, defend herself, and to even climb trees. Since Beatz knew about her sick mother, she would hunt down winged rabbits for her. Every newborn is allowed to see their parent as even they need to be breast fed. Beatz would refuse to leave her mother's side and when the care taker would come to take her away, she would start bawling and crying, trying to hide by her mother. It happened every single night for months, and every single night, her father had to come to take her with him. She had to be reassured every night that her mother needs rest and very soon, she'll be able to stay with her. Still, that didn't stop her hunting down winged rabbits for her mother.

Due to her not being by her mother and other baby howlers returned to their mother, she was left alone with no friends. Desperate for at least someone, she left the premises, heading straight to Pony Ville. There, she had met few fillies, about her age, and tried to speak with her mother tongue about wanting to join them to play ball. They let her, even though she was strange looking. Turns out, one of the fillies' father was a hunter and ended up chasing after Beatz with a shotgun. She was grazed by her thigh with his gun and ended up tripping down a rocky, woody hill.

She got bruised and cut badly and had to cry out to be heard as she was in so much pain and bleeding from all her scars. When she was found and got taken home, the alpha was furious and ended up punishing Beatz so much that she had received scar on her other thigh because not only she had left the pack's premises, but she was found by a hunter. The entire pack had to move from their original place to the other side of the forest, away from Pony Ville. Beatz never tried to leave the premises ever again, Hell, she wouldn't leave her resting place, even not for hunting.

4. Beatz started growing up alone until she had reached a legal age to say goodbye to her care taker. Also, she was finally able to see her mother and stay by her whenever she felt like it. Her mother was ecstatic, peppering kisses and giving hugs to her daughter. Beatz was finally smiling again. The thing her mother had noticed is how Beatz wasn't as happy as she was once she was a child. Beatz wasn't being childish or all fluffy; she was actually almost acting like the alpha herself. After Beatz had quietly told her the story of when she left the premises as a child and how she had received a punishment, her mother just snapped. Not at Beatz, but at the alpha. Her mother had almost got kicked out of the pack due to how she had yelled and disrespected the alpha. The alpha was sick and old but still powerful so he snapped back. Beatz had to witness the alpha dying later, not because of her mother, but because of the sickness. A new alpha had risen but she was a lot kinder and had set a new law; every newborn is allowed to be with the mother.

5. On her 13th birthday, Beatz was extremely joyful of how she had finally grew hair. It was blue and had the style of her father's mane. She even had a heart strand that no howler had and not even the healers could understand how she developed it, but after a while, no one questioned it. The strand would be all big when she would be happy or flustered and it would go limp and down whenever she was sad or upset. Having grown mane, she was noticed by every howler that she was a hybrid and every pack called her either "the blessing" or "the curse". But she didn't care much about the titles; as long as no one tries to harm her or her family, she was completely just a blessing to her pack.

6. Turns out, Beatz hadn't completely learned her lesson as she had wandered off, A G A I N. But this time, it wasn't out of the premises or to Pony Ville. She had seen and noticed that recently, flowers and daisies have been gone missing. The healers would panic because they used the petals to create medicines. So, Beatz wandered off to find out what's been happening to the flowers. Hearing hums and stems being snapped, she hide behind a bush and peeked through. She got dazed when she saw a pegasi. Not only she hadn't seen one ever since she was little, but this specific one was completely graceful, and smelt quite nice, like flowers. She tried to be quiet as she walked up to the pegasi who was too focused on collecting a glowing blue flower. Beatz's eyes met aquatic ones and immediately saw fear, but she wanted to know where the flowery smell is coming from; so, like a howler she was, she started sniffing the pony, unaware of the blush that had formed. Then, she noticed the fear and frowned, backing away. She morphed into more of an appropriate look and tried to look friendly enough.

Unable to gain the pony's trust, she spoke with her mother's tongue, clicking noises happily before gesturing off into the distance. The pony hesitantly followed the howler deeper into the forest. There, a new open field, filled with different kinds of magical flowers caught her eyes. Excited and happy, she started collecting some she thought was more beautiful. Beatz started hearing 'my favourite daisy' from the pony a lot and tried to repeat it. The pegasi stared in shock and surprise before smiling and repeated the sentence again. Beatz repeated it back, slowly and carefully. 'Ember' the pegasi said slowly to the howler who repeated it back just as slow before smiling with her toothy smile at her achievement. She grabbed a nearby stick and wrote her name on the ground but Ember couldn't understand the letters and characters so Beatz had resorted to speaking it out. 'Beatz' she said slowly and Ember repeated it, trying to say it correctly and Beatz just jumped happily when Ember said it right. Ember smiled at the blushing howler but she turned red too when Beatz had tried to mix up a sentence, 'my favourite flower.'

7. Finally, the legal age to leave the premises and be out in the open, because of that, her mother gave her a scarf to keep her warm. At first, Beatz was happy but then got extremely shy and anxious at the fact pegasus live on the clouds and she was the only one who couldn't fly or be up there. She never got a hair cut so her hair was continously covering her eyes and she would sometimes trip because of her hair. She started trying to find Ember. They had dated a bit but broke up because something just wasn't right, they didn't pay much attention to it and just stayed friends. Beatz was extremely thankful at how Ember had taught her how to speak to other ponies. She wasn't able to fit in perfectly in Pony Ville and wanted to see bright lights that she always sees in her forest. Because of that, she found Ember who had told her the way to a big, bright city and even told her the perfect hair salon. She cut her hair and moved to the open city. There, she was amazed by the many lights and spent most of her nights out of her house, just on her roof or balcony, staring at the night city with luminous galaxies.

It wasn't 4 weeks before she had bumped into a colt. The colt was a famous singer and thought Beatz was a fan. Beatz didn't reply to any of his questions as she was mesmerized by his blue eyes and symmetrical features. She told him that she had actually listened to his and his bandmate's songs and thought they were great. 'Nathan' the colt introduced himself with a smile and Beatz's wings couldn't behave because they fluffed up and she got extremely flustered about it. 'Beatz' she managed to say, her voice as soft as ever. In the end, he asked if they could meet again and she couldn't be anymore happy.
