3 years before FiM started I started making custom G1 and G3 ponies. Amongst these was a series based off of Ace Attorney characters. Altogether I made 31. The first was this one based on Maya Fey. Her epoxy magatama was later replaced with an actual glass one. Since brown or black hair didn't look good on ponies for the most part, I chose to base their colors on the outfits the characters wore.
I got quite a bit of flak from some people on the Court Records forums for these when I first showed them (of course they didn't like me in the first place because I either didn't like their ships or they were trolls).
