Just a random quick Pinkie Pie render using HDRI lighting. It's also been almost one and a half years since I've done anything with Pinkie, so it's honestly been kind of a long time coming.
Anywho, currently I'm in the middle of a pretty major rework of some of the mane models for some of the characters I've already modeled, those being Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and MAAAAYBE Coloratura, still not sure. Pinkie Pie's mane model is fine and requires no rework for what I'm doing. For RD and AJ, their manes (and probably tails) need to be reworked a bit, as I've been overhauling some of the Material settings for the hair all around. Most of the rework has revolved around adding anisotropics (which in general helps the hair material look more like hair), which have been a bit tricky for me for a while, but I recently understood how they worked, but now knowing that, the topology of RD and AJ's manes aren't working well with anisotropics. So I will need to rework the topology to separate parts of their manes to be separate. Essentially, I'm separating their manes into multiple clumps of hair. I intend to keep the overall silhouette the same as before, just with separate hair clump models, which will have extremely simple topology and with optimal anisotropic shading. Probably won't be for a while before I show them off, as I'm still experimenting with things to help simplify the animation for all of the new added strands of hair, which would drastically increase the complexity of manually animating follow through animation with the hair if I don't properly address it.
