Page 1060 — Phoning It In
Oof, got a bit of the ol' colored-bubble overload on this page. (This is actually a pet peeve of mine with some of the other campaign comics I've seen…)
Transcript:Rarity: Anypony want to blame the Thieves' Guild for this?
Applejack: Believe me, I'm tempted.
Twilight Sparkle: So… how hosed are we?
Princess Celestia: I don't understand… That chamber is protected by a powerful spell that only Luna and I can break.
Rainbow Dash: Any chance your sister's having a Nightmare relapse? I'd be down for a Round 2.
Princess Celestia: Please, never joke about that again. If they were teleported… Could he have been lying in wait…? Where? How? This doesn't make any sense…
Discord: Mwahahahaha… "Make sense"? Oh, what fun is there in making sense…?
Rainbow Dash: Uh… what the heck was that?
Applejack: Was that… your phone? Have we been on speaker since the game started?!
Princess Celestia: Discord. Show yourself!
Rarity: Goodness. We're actually doing this. This is actually a bit.
Fluttershy: The "outside help"…
Discord: Oh hoh hoh hoh…
Discord GM: The menacing laughter echoes around the hal, seemingly coming from everywhere yet nowhere.
Pinkie Pie: Huh?
Discord GM: Princess Celestia's eyes track across the stained glass windows, searching for her ancient foe.
Twilight Sparkle: Is he narrating? Is he allowed to do that…?
Discord GM: The myriad voices coalesce within one particular image – Discord as puppetmaster to the helpless ponies of Equestria. It's not the most flattering portrayal, but I suppose you can't blame those biased pony glaziers. A snap. A flash of light! And the pictorial Discord begins to animate.
Discord: Did you miss me, Celestia? I missed you.
