A prince and his stoic knight.

Prince Stellar Rays and Comet Valor met by accident.
As a new kid in Ponyville, Valor didn't immediately make friends. He's very quiet and kids found him weird. However he caught the attention of the target of most bullying. The Prince of Friendship loved him from the moment he saw him but came to him asking for friendship.
Valor, secretly being the biggest love starved teddy bear, happily accepted!

In their youth, Comet Valor was an excellent fencer putting most unicorns to shame. He was knighted by Twilight Sparkle and followed Stellar Rays when he abducated the throne and fled. Since then, the two have never been apart.
