Jetstream, Mellow Vibes, and Tourmaline Quartz have been a trio of comic-loving, music-adoring, pizza-eating stallions since they were little colts. Since, of course, their respective mothers are rather close, they were practically raised together. After Zephyr Breeze's legitimate crush on Rainbow Dash was, well, dashed, when he met Treehugger, he actually became less of an annoyance and a cooler dude to hang around. As such, Rainbow didn't mind his surprisingly well-mannered son Mel hanging around her oldest son.


Tourmaline (Tom for short) of course has always been a part of the picture, the unicorn and Jet bonding closely over their adoration of rock music (they attended their first concert together), and the three all coming together over shared loves of music and comic books (though, of course, Wonder is so totally better than ED Comics, and they have many spirited discussions of such). Despite Jet and Tom fronting their two-pony band RazorWingz, Mel always stands as a solid pillar of support, and is willing to provide his voice for a song or two. Despite their incredibly different personalities, these dudes have always meshed well, and share a bond that will last for quite some time.
