Appleberry regularly makes sweet jams and jelly candies for Zapple Pie, both for taste-testing and to sell at the Ponyville Market. He has a pile of hoof-made goodies in his kitchen just for her, which get packed into a sturdy package for delivery every week or so. Zapple is one of his most enthusiastic fans, being a complete foodie, and the two regularly exchange care packages filled with sweet treats. The two are great pen-pals, even if they don't live super far apart, and always make sure to visit each other whenever either one is in town to swap recipes and pig out on junk food.
