Black Wolf was the third Black in hold the charge of "Celestias Hoof". A commander more than capable and fierce warrior, his prowess with the greatsword and warhammer was surpassed only by his magical abilities. Everypony said that he practiced prohibited witchcraft, because he survived injuries that would have kill at any ordinary pony. He died at age of 93, still a strong pony with a clear mind, due to a mysterious explosion in his alchemical laboratory, doing estrange experiments with dragon eggs one winter morning, in the year of our Sun Goddess, Celestia of 426 BC. He was succeeded by his grandson Black Tempest "The Brief" in his charge.
