Short Bio: Jayfeather is Frozen Soul's older brother. The two of them grew up incredibly close from the very beginning. Being the son of a gryphon father and a pegasus mother, both supreme fliers and their mother in the Wonderbolts, they were primed from the start to become Wonderbolts themselves. Jayfeather was already in Flight School by the time Frozen Soul was born — Snowy Heart at the time — and though his sibling showed no gryphon traits aside from outstanding flight capablities and an affinity for animals, the two quickly grew to be inseparable aside from schooling.

When Frozen ran away, hurt by his family and unable to do what he truly loved and pressured into becoming something he didn't want to be — a Wonderbolt — Jayfeather was incredibly hurt. He had just been accepted into the Wonderbolts Academy and was excited to tell his sibling the news, but by the time he got home, he discovered his best friend had gone, leaving a note not to follow, that it wasn't Jay's fault at all. However, of course, the brother was assured it indeed was his fault. He could've done something. He should've seen the signs.

Though disheartened, Jayfeather stayed in school where he belonged. He passed with "flying" colours, of course, and ended up joining the Wonderbolts as one of their main fliers. He trained harder than most who had joined the team, surprising all of them, and of course, impressing them.

Years later, years that went by in a flash, full of casual romance and casual.. well, other things, Jayfeather was ready to perform at the Grand Galloping Gala for the first time in his Wonderbolts career. He was confident in himself and ready to prove his right to be a Wonderbolt. Rehearsal was easy, went over well, by in a flash. He was incredibly confident he would be able to pull this off without a hitch. When he stood atop a cloud with his crew, finally in the middle, considered the leader of this particular show, he gazed down upon the crowd of ponies awaiting the announcer to cease. One of those ponies caught his eye, but he snapped back into his mind just in time to kick off. Though he seemed to be doing well, as they were flying along the rails of the stadium where the crowd waved their hooves out, that very same pony caught his eye once more. It finally click in his head that it was his sibling, and the realisation startled him so much he spun out of control, slamming himself into the wall of the stadium and knocking himself out immediately.

When he woke up, he was in a hospital, and the first thing he saw was not only the worried faces of Fleetfoot and Blitz, but the face of an unknown pony and more importantly, the face of his sibling. The two spent hours talking, catching up, and Jayfeather understood then why Frozen Soul left and who he was now. He was incredibly proud of the pony he now called his brother and vowed to visit every chance he could with Frozen's friend Blitz. He was, of course, forgiven for messing up the Gala's performance, and after his recovery, was able to perform at the next one without a hitch.
