Octavia took a long whiff of the steaming cup in her hands, letting it warm her hands. Coffee is always a wonderful thing, but on a crisp autumn morning like this, it was heavenly. She was the first up, and as such had the cottage to herself. The house was a retreat in the country, and was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and life in general.

The floorboards quietly creaked, and something was rustling through the pantry. The rattle of a cereal bowl being filled told her Silver was up, preparing a healthy breakfast of processed sugar. Octavia didn't approve, but it was Silver's vacation as much as her own. Besides, Vinyl was to blame for bringing it in the house as it was.

Octavia was about to turn around and greet the filly, when the floor shook and Silver let out a high-pitched squeal. As loud as her sister's scream was however, it was nothing compared to the voice that followed.

"WHAT. IS. THIS?"

Octavia looked to see Diskjockius the Blaring dangling her sister by her leg, shaking her and glaring at Octavia. How the Noise Marine had managed to find them this far out of town, Octavia had no idea, but she was certain she'd rather not know. She took another sip of her coffee and sighed, sure the day was ruined.

"BORING ONE, ANSWER ME! WHAT IS THIS THING? I DO NOT LIKE IT. IT REMINDS ME OF YOU."

"Would you kindly put my sister down, Mr. Disk?"

"SISTER? THERE ARE MORE OF YOU?"

"More of my family, yes. Now would you please-"

"IS THIS SOME SICK JOKE OF TZEENTCH? DOES YOUR ILK EXIST MERELY TO TORMENT ME?"

"Frankly, I could ask the same…"
