On this page Nuk and Obi have a little chuckle because of the small situation of the bridge issue before on the previous page.
He begins to cross on foot through the water.
Obi then halfway across the stream realizes Nuk said something about his weight, and this made him feel rather disgruntled.
He was then going to say something about it as he was stepping out of the water, when they both were suddenly surprised by a gigantic GASP! coming from just ahead of them.
It was non other than Pinkie Pie being surprised herself by the sight that bestowed before her. A Gerenuk Antelope and an Elephant half submerged in the stream.
She then excitedly bolted back to the center of town to who knows where…(I know where, but you guys will have to wait and see!)
Nuk then asks Obi if that was indeed one of the townsfolk. With a reply from Obi, she thought she was…….nice? She couldn't really tell for how fast she ran off.

So here we go! Our first Pony to ever appear in this comic is the one and only Pinkie Pie!
It seemed to be the best way to start the pony interactions off for the characters themselves.
It was so much fun drawing Nuk and Obi's surprised expressions in the GASP panel. That was really funny!
Bridges take a LONG time to color. So does Ponyville. But I got through it!

One thing to note is that Pinkie is not scared, shes actually excited because she was expecting Obi the Elephant to come with a friend.
The whole mane 6 actually know of their arrival, but the rest of the town doesn't, or in this case refuses to believe the mane six when they tell them that a 7 ton Elephant will be coming for a visit in their very own town.
If nopony believes them, then their just going to have to see for themselves. This will make for some great reactions in future pages!
