For the design with this- I knew immediately that I wanted to do a cowgirl/western theme, and chose to incorporate bull horns, rope, cow print (brown to match AJ better), and transform her gala saddle into pauldrons. Now, the one hang up I had was "Wow- I could go full circle and do hooves instead of claws because holy crap she's a pony!" but it looked really ridiculous, so I figured- Awwwell, to stay in the theme of the Final Fantasy X2 Bersekrer — claws it is! Cow print claws, but hey, leopard print really didn't seem to fit the western theme. Oh, and her boots- I referenced the Gala boots, It's not meant to be like, in reference to Hungary, haha (unless the show is secretly trying to tell us AJ is Hungarian, that's beyond me)
Finally, I knew everybody would ask, "Where's her hat!?" So, since she can't really wear it, what with horns on her head, I made sure her hat still made a cameo. shrugs into oblivion Overall I'm really happy with the result and I'm glad I took the risk with an action pose. Cosplayers are going to hate me for covering up the middle of the costume- though there isn't much there anyway, haha! My apologies.
