Shepherd's Pie, or Sheepy, is the daughter of Applebloom and Pinkie Pie, and… well, she inherited the family business. With Mr. & Mrs. Cake dying of old age a little earlier than expected cough CUPCAKES cough and Pound & Pumpkin Cake too young to take over the place, Pinkie Pie inherited Sugarcube Corner. Pound and Pumpkin got adopted, and everything worked out happily for everypony. Well, most ponies. Ponyville has such trouble with the Everfree Forest, you know. Folks just end up wandering into the woods, or some big monster attacks Ponyville again and there's just no getting around the fact that life in Ponyville is dangerous. Want a cupcake? Anyway, with the furor that got thrown up about Dashie's little accident, Applebloom convinced Pinkie to take out the other Mane 6 from the numbers game. Not because she cared for them, it's just impossible to keep it up if everyone's nosing around. Eventually, it all died down, and life went on. Everyone was impressed with how Pinkie kept up with her cheer even when they lost their friend, and her cheer helped them get over it too. Pinkie showed them how to move on, and even though it was a little odd, she and Applebloom grew closer, and after she was old enough, it wasn't particularly surprising when they said they were dating. Applejack wasn't sure how she should take it; the age difference was just a little odd, but eventually she decided that it wasn't such a problem. She trusted Pinkie with her little sister. Shepherd's Pie inherited Applebloom's bow, and a little special apron from when she was just learning the trade. Sheepy is a quiet mare with a buisiness-like approach to all of her life, from running the counter up front, to the special parties that go on in the back. Pinkie sure wishes her little kid would be more cheerful, having the parties is no fun without a little joking. But she gets it done almost better than either of her parents. Quieter, neater, better prepared, it's just such a shame she's such a downer about everything. Her talent is her job, after all. Her Cutie Mark, however, was a little bit of a problem. Sure, Pinkie was thrilled to bits, but it's just a little suspicious. So with some makeup and a cloak from her auntie Maud, Sheepy hides as an adult blank flank. This, along with her quiet nature, has led the town to assume Sheepy is just shy and not good at expressing her emotions. They just don't think much of Sheepy's 'shyness'. I mean, she's a young adult, and she doesn't have a cutie mark. That's a tough thing to go through, it's no wonder she's always so quiet, the poor dear. Pinkie's nickname has helped, with calling her Sheepy, she's given more of an impression of being shy rather than…. well, crazy.
