This is Fira, adoptive mother of my OC Fang! As I'm sure you can see, she is a Crystal Dragon. Due to living in the crystal mountains, her diet (As well as the diets of the other dragons who live in her group) is mainly crystals from the mountain and gems. So, over time, the dragons became crystalized much like the Crystal Ponies! I really love how she turned out. She's exactly as I wanted her to be!

Part of me is thinking of making Crystal Dragons a closed species. But, I dunno. I think they're already canon due to Spike being turned into one temporarily in the show. So, I guess I couldn't do that.
