"Saphiras (Ame) stayed to talk a while with Apple Split and told him, she was on the run from her old home. Even though she's a changeling he felt sorry for her, but couldn't risk taking her home to the apple barn where he stayed for a while for the family reunion. He gave her his scarf and she said she'd be okay out in the orchard over the night.
When it slowly turned to night she watched the sky turn dark and cuddled into the warm scarf, leaving a feeling she never felt before… the feeling of security…"
