For my 13th commission, Jegerpony came to me and asked if I could draw his character, Jaeger, in an emotional situation.

His backstory is quite emotional as well.

He sort of lost his parents while his older sister was away, and blames himself a little for it. So he ended up with a bit of a guilt complex.
So in turn, the other stallions in his classes would turn on him and pick on him and such, since they viewed him as the easy target.

As such, this is after one of those events. Though this time, instead of letting himself sit there and take their punishment, he struck back. Normally he'd end up with some scrapes and bruises, but little more, and then explain it away as his own carelessness.
But the emotions became to much for him this time, so he struck out and hit the main target of his persecution as hard as he could.
Likely broke his jaw, since they see him as weak, but since he does everything for himself, he's rather kind of… not.
Now he's conflicted about his own nature and that of what took his parents, feeling even more guilty than before.
Then he ran away as far as he could, away from everything. Then found a cave to take refuge in.
