Nuzzling is more than a notion.
Ponies nuzzle a lot. It shows general affection across the spectrum of friends and lovers. Though I wonder at what point and in what way, a friendship nuzzle turns into a more intimate nuzzle? Is it possible to nuzzle someone inappropriately? We may never know. And I think about stupid stuff like this far too much.
