Princess Luna governs the night cycle and the realm of the dreams. She watches over the Lunar Republic, formerly known as the Lunar Kingdom (though often referred to as that informally). In her absence, her kingdom turned to a new form of governance after their longtime defeat at the hands for Solar Military as one of the concessions made. After the defeat, it was widely believed that the two lands would be integrated, but that fear was very quickly put to rest. Impressively, the Republic has stood strong on its own two legs even after a millennia.
When Luna was freed from her corruption, her return was met with awe and confusion. A one thousand year old myth was proven real and quashed within 48 hours. Following that, the namesake for their republic has returned willing to work for her people. Her voice level and archaic left a little to be desired, but she was able to integrate into modern times without too much drama. Not many would question a walking goddess. She took the eternal position of tie breaking vote within the republic that she presides in. In short, she is now merely a Princess in title.
Her relation with the Warriors is one of gratitude and guilt. She is eternally grateful for her purification, but feels nothing but guilt for what's become of her, the wars she’s caused, and the pain she inflicted on her sister and the Warriors. After her tears from reuniting with her sister dried, she realized why her Warriors of Darkness awakened. She was a danger to herself after returning to the land still under a curse. They were awakened to protect her from her own self destructive vengeance.
As a Dark Knight, she utilizes her own life force as a power source, but as an Alicorn, her lifeforce regenerates very quickly so her power is mostly without end. There are many Dark magicks are at her disposal that draw from both mana and her life force. She has come to terms with how intimidating a force she can be, and utilizes it to her advantage. Luna is a bit embarrassed at acting tough, but she’s popular with tweens and the darker crowd of teenagers.
Tantabus Scythe — After she has grown to accept her own sins, she enchanted a scythe with the same magicks that power that Tatanbus used. The dark streak that follows can show the deepest fears to her opponent if they don’t have a strong enough will. The blade itself is detachable to become a sword. The handle is hidden in the connection part between the staff and the blade.
Moonblade — In the rare occasion that she loses her scythe, she has her secondary weapon, the Moonblade. A blade made from ore found on the moon. Since she was pestered relentlessly by her sister to become a Dark Knight, she asked to choose her own weapons. When she has both the sword and the scythe, the cost to use her life costing abilities is lessened."
