Returning back to Canterlot after a long weekend at Sweet Apple Acres Honey practically sprinted all the way back to the castle. She knew that her dear prince would be there waitig for her.

Not wanting to waste time with packing up her luggage she instead took the kitchen enterance back into the castle and merely just thrw her bag into one of the corners, leaving it there for tomorrow. Dinner had already been served and lady Luna and lady Celestia where in the midst of switching the celestial bodies in the sky, lowering the sun and raising the moon.

The hallways where still and quiet and she rushed to speak to one of the guards standing outside of the left wing.

"Hey um.. Cloud Buster. Ya haven't happened to see Prince Riposte anywhere have ya?" She said. Having befriended some of the regular guards, they casually called eachother by name at this point.

"Uh yeah he was heading to the guest rooms… but he-"

Cloud Buster was interupted before he could finish his sentence.

"Ok thank you!" Honey chirped as she darted down the hallway.

She ran for a good while through the long corridors before finally spotting him. He was turned away from her and walking towards the rooms. Collecting herself slightly she then called out to him.

"Riposte" she said in a slightly raised voice, not wanting to shout.

The prince was a bit startled as he spun around quickly to face her.

"Oh, Honeycrisp. I thought you wouldn't be back untill tomorrow."

"I took an earlier train" She smiled goofily as she blushed slightly. "Hoping to maybe get to see ya a bit sooner"

The prince seemed to contemplate something for a seond before approaching her.

"Such a wonderful decision" He said as he laid a hoof around her neck and looking deep into her eyes. "Come with me, Luna told me the sky would be magnificent tonight"

Honey went slightly limp next to him, relaxing as she felt his body heat whilst they walked next to eachother towards the big balcony on this floor.

Outside the two of them sat close to each other. Honey loved stargazing with the prince. It was such a romantic setting.
The sun had just gone down behind the horrizone and the stars where now twinkling majesticaly in the sky. Riposte was right, the sky did have a certain extra today. The visability os the stars where amazing.

They sat in silence for a very long time. Honey wanting to lean in closer to the pink stallion yet not really having the courage to do so.

"It's beautifull isn't it"

She heard him say and she quickly glanced over towards him expecting him to look at the sky, yet his eyes where fixed upon her.
Blushing wildly she tried to stammer something in reply but was interupted as he put a hoof to chin, turning her to face him directly.

"I'm not talking about the sky"

He leaned in close, hoof still underneath her chin.
Honey was speechless. She too leaned in closer. Now muzzle to muzzle he kissed her and the last thing she saw before closing her eyes where his beautiful coat sparkling like diamonds in the strong moonlight.
