The character featured is named Staccato and has a fear of silence, hence why he is freaking out at nothing. Because there is literally nothing to indicate any sound occurring in this picture apart from Staccato's helpless screaming.
I decided to make the background a pale blue because blue is the colour I mostly associate with quiet. Mainly because I like both silence and the colour blue.
