I don't want to make any stupid and hurtful *triggered* gag here, because that makes you a shitty human being.
But, oh Patch. Poor traumatized thing is clearly reliving something dreadful if this episode's subpar animation is to be taken at face value. And she never did say that her birth parents weren't lost at sea, even when the question came up.
