Within the land of Paladia there are many holidays that are shared with thier Equestrian neighbors. However, similar to the Summer Sun Celebration, Paladia has a group of holidays dedicated to the change of the seasons. Within Paladia, the seasons are not changed manually, but do seem to change with a strange magical force guiding them. The ponies of Paladia have had story after story passed along with each generation but one common theme seems to run for most of them. The idea that the seasons change with the appearance of a pony to match the coming season. They are: The Mares of Winter and Summer, The Stallion of Autumn, and the Filly of Spring. Their race and colors may change with each year, marking good or bad tendencies for that time. No matter if they are Earth Pony or Alicorn, Summer and winter are always mares, Fall is always a stallion, and Spring is always a filly.

Harvest time within Paladia is always a time farmers and gatherers look forward to. While the produce that grows in Paladia is not as diverse as it’s Equestrian neighbor, it’s often plentiful. Just how plentiful is usually predicted by the Stallion of Autumn. Just like the other season ponies, the Stallion of Autumn can take the form of any of the pony tribes. While a unicorn form can mean a very innovative harvest season, most look for the brown earth pony to be seen passing through the trees or in a field as this means the seasons harvest will be extra special for those who have tended the land.

While Paladia lacks wide expanses of farmland, farmers and gatherers work together to ensure that the best Paladia can offer is brought to the ponies. A harvest festival is often held in each of the farming towns depending on what form the Stallion takes. However, no matter what form the Stallion of Autumn takes, the “Autumn’s Blessing” festival is always held in the Capital city of Terra Ferma
