So, while Cotton stuffing mixed in cider (>>1278315) might not be great for drinking anymore, a little refinement, filtering, and distilling means it can still be used as a fuel in some robust internal-combustion engines. Of course, does help if you're absolutely sure that what you send out is completely free of the stuff, because I'm willing to bet there's a noticeable difference between a generator or tractor choking on some stuffing and an aircraft choking on it…
