Twilight — Compassion. (errr… purple pony, purple ring.)
Pinkie — Rage. (Because she's pretty much governed by instinct. And we all know what happens when she really loses it.)
Dash — Hope. (Well, she has a lot of hope .. even if it's hope in herself. Also, that way she can keep Pinkie's rage-powers in check.)
Rarity — Willpower. (She has lots of it. And green suits her.)
Applejack — Avarice (mainly because she's orange. But she's also pretty money-hungry.)
Fluttershy — Fear (naturally. Also, the STARE.)

Love would go to Spike, but I didn't include him in the commission. He would just run after Rarity anyway.

The matching colors are mostly coincidence, but y'know, fuck it. It works out somehow."
