I bet no one thought I'd include a WWI aircraft among my warplane ponies ;)

(Until a few months ago neither did I actually)

The Gotha was a variant bomber within the German forces in the first world war, one of the very first "heavy" bombers in aviation history, or at least what our modern definition of heavy bomber would translate to: large payload capacities, and multi-seat gun positions to defend against intercept fighters.

The Gotha V especially, was designed for night bombing raids, which was perfect for our bat pony here. You can see from the Gotha V side view, that her colors were inspired by the night-raid camo pattern. (Which blended perfectly for a batpony color)

So naturally, I wanted a character who fit the bill of "Dive Siren's mother" and was a call back to what I thought of an appropriate "Mother of all bombers" at the same time :D

I took the liberty to modify the show accurate Night Guard armor to be a bit more freeform to give her some mobility.

As for her character:
I figure the last WoF page covered it fairly well. She's been indoctrinated to nearly 1000 years of perpetuated and institutionalized loyalty to something the rest of the world would consider a myth. You can imagine what that would do to your sense of priority.

And the name "Gotha" just bleeds thoughts of "elegance" and "brutality" at the same time in my head. Probably just me, but it made the name choice all the more appealing and appropriate.

But yea, just wanted to make sure I got a proper character card for her, since she's officially been revealed now.
