1. Gregory and Jazz Apple

Ever since Jazz Apple and Gregory met when they were young, the two hooked if off the bat, their relationship developing into a friendly rivalry like their mothers once had. They always enjoyed each others' company, laughing together while pulling pranks or cloudwatching while lounging on a summer day. It wasn't until their mid-teenage years when they discovered they had feelings for each other, and while in public they certainly don't act like a couple, in privacy their rough and tough facades melt away as they give each other love and affection.

2. Little Jazz Apple and Zap Apple

Due to being fraternal twins, both Jazz and Zap were close as twins usually were. They preferred each other's company oppose to others and were always side-by-side. Jazz was always the more bold of the two and would occasionally climb onto her brother's head to see better much to his dismay. However, Zap truly didn't mind in the end as he learned how to fly before his sister did, but the two are inseparable when they need each other mother—especially if they need a shoulder to climb up on!

3. Sky Bound and Jazz Apple

Jazz Apple and Sky Bound were always friendly to one another, the other giving each other advice and even Sky Bound managing to back some bullies off of Jazz during flight camp—much like how Dash did for Fluttershy. After getting to know each other better in Junior Flight Camp, the two began to hang out more after graduation. When they were older and Sky Bound was showing more of a masculinity side despite being a mare, Jazz was always there to support her decisions and even trying something new for her friend. She loved the mane cut she got one time that ended up with more of her mane gone and her head having a bit of a shaved patch. Sure, Jazz's parents didn't really approve of it but they soon grew on to the mane style and knew their daughter was old enough to make her own decision.
