Personality; After the reformation of King Sombra, Princess Luna and the ex-tyrant began to grow closer to each other, both unused to the new world and its advances. Both offered peace to one and another, and without a legitimate heir for Luna's part of the throne and unwed, Sombra began to court the mare, treating her with chivalry and anything but what he once was. The two consummate their love for each other and roughly a year later, the young prince of the night was born. Like his cousin Prince Eclipse, Prince Nocturne is the crowned heir to his mother's throne. He's stoic and silent, often observing opposed to speaking his mind—he'll only speak when he needs to.

Koitsune and I crashed and finally went with Somluna for the next gen. I was thinking about Hopebra originally, but I really can't get over Radiant Hope's awful personality and story, plus she's a completely different character and story in our universe X'D And is actually dead and had her own foals with another pONY ANYWAYS. SO. Prince Nocturne was born. And yes, Maelstrom is super salty about his younger half-brother being Mommy's favorite. Poor noodle child has a rough life.

Also, before anybody asks, Sombra and Topaz are separate entities! It's a little hard to explain, but Sombra was born from Topaz but Sombra became coporeal enough to maintain his own shape and body :'D Of course, Sombra's still fond of Opalescent Pearl but knows she loves Topaz and that he wasn't the pony she fell in love with. Pearl, however, did play a part in Sombra's reformation and oversaw it. Not to mention Pearl's children considers Sombra a second father due to how much time they grew up with him.

And yes, Obsidian is often mistaken for Nocturne's younger brother XD
