I did a Spitfire origami in summer 2016 already, but only very recently did I manage to tailor a Wonderbolts uniform from silk paper for her (there will be other scenes of Spitfire without the flying uniform in the future).
I couldn't resist the ocassion to dust one scale 1:72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk. I model I built in the late 1990s to set it into this scene. There are going to be more image of this scene in the next days. I'm not really happy with the lighting in the images I took. I didn't get it any better (in spite of setting up pretty much any lamp I had and experimenting with the settings of my camera). I recon I may have to get some better lamps.
However, if there is less annoying image noise in this one than in many of my preceeding images, thanks for that goes to the helpful advise of Pandora51, a friend of mine who (unlike me) really knows what he is doing when picking up a camera. He also got and set up a Spitfire without the full body uniform for Christmas. That image may give some basis for Spitfire's comment in Top Bolt (S6 E27): "Will you fly so much your wings fall off? That has only happened once.
The background image for this scene is a screenshot from Newbie Dash (S6 E7) from which I just removed one runway that would have clashed with the non-digital elements of this picture.
