I might not know a lot about the Metal Gear series on the whole, but I'm pretty sure that Static probably won't be able to use that bandana to it's full potential. Still, with the stealth suit, he makes it work.
Totally not spoilers for Empty Quiver, I swear. There will assuredly not be any part where he crawls around in a box or has to climb a ridiculously long ladder while wearing a bandana and eyepatch. This is not a suspiciously specific denial.
