In Sisterhooves Social, Sweetie makes breakfast and burns everything (even the juice), and her mother proudly says she's been giving her lessons. In one of the nicest continuity odds in the series, in One Bad Apple we see Cookie Crumble's husband out fishing, apparently with a lovely sandwich made for him by his wife.
