Derpy's in the Gameloft app not as a "party" member in the main roster, but as a free source of bits and sometimes Gems. She'll periodically hide somewhere in a cardboard box Solid Snake style, and when you find her and tap on the box, she'll pop out and give you bits and sometimes gems, before heading off to socialize with your ponies. Later she'll sneak off and hide again.
