After a surprisingly persistent amount of insisting from Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash finally gave Zephyr Breeze a chance: after all, he was a changed stallion after graduating mane styling school, surely he would be a tolerable date? It seemed that Rainbow Dash was right, and that Zephyr Breeze was a whole new stallion after actually completing something. A few months after his graduation, Rainbow and Zephyr went on a small dinner date, and from there a heated relationship began. The two were more physically attracted to each other rather than emotionally: Zephyr thought Rainbow was hot, and Rainbow though Zephyr was…more athletic than he let on. This physical relationship heated up hot, and it seemed that a relationship could actually form between the two. However, the relationship sizzled out just as quickly as it had sparked: a few months after they started seeing each other, Rainbow and Zephyr ended their relationship since they could never get past the physicality. This was actually not the end of the two pony's encounters, for right after their relationship ended, Rainbow discovered their continuous romping led to a pregnancy. When Rainbow told Zephyr, he decided to be there for the mare, at least at first. As Rainbow's pregnancy progressed, Zephyr began getting cold hooves until one day he simply could not handle the idea of being a father anymore and left Rainbow alone one night. Distraught and angered, Rainbow told her friends, all of whom went searching for the stallion, unfortunately to no avail. Feeling guilty for putting Rainbow Dash in this position, Fluttershy took her pregnant friend in, vowing to help raise the foal in her brother's place. When the tiny colt Feather Dart was born, Rainbow and Fluttershy promised to never reveal who his father was so that he may never be hurt by his betrayal. The tiny Feather Dart spent his childhood under the care of his mother and aunt who shifted him between the small animal cottage, the home in the clouds, and the Wonderbolts Academy Training Grounds. It was during his time under the supervision of Wonderbolts that Feather Dart learned of his talent in speed flying, much to the delight of his mother Rainbow. While working for the Wonderbolts and raising her son, Rainbow continued her previous pen pal relationship with Quibble Pants, her convention stallion friend. After their first Daring Do Convention, the two wrote to each other weekly, both of their solaces in thier otherwise stressful lives. By this point Quibble Pants was working as a social media manager for a major book publishing company, and it was his letters to his friend Rainbow that brightened his days. One day, he suggested meeting up for dinner since they had not seen each other in the flesh for years. Rainbow accepted, and the two hit it off right away. Rainbow and Quibble began meeting regularly, developing a deep emotionally loving relationship they both craved. After two years of dating, Rainbow once again became pregnant, and after what happened with Zephyr, she was not too thrilled at more abandonment. When Rainbow eventually told Quibble of their foal, the stallion proposed marriage right on the spot, promising to never abandon her or their child. Right after their wedding, Rainbow gave birth to a wild filly they named Storm Streak. Together, Quibble and Rainbow raised the two children as a loving family, which then grew to a future family of five. Currently, Rainbow is pregnant with her and Quibble's second foal together. Feather Dart, a stoic teenager, is currently a reserve with the Wonderbolts due to his talent in speed flying, and Storm Streak, is currently a school filly who loves to play pranks on any pony while using thunderclouds, her specialty.

A third MLP ship and NG! Rainbow Dash and Quibble Pants are another pairing of nerds that I feel click quite well, even if through stubborn obsessions with a fandom. Pairing Zephyr Breeze and Rainbow Dash is more of a crack ship to me, but I liked the possibility of both putting a reformed character back to their old traits, and testing the bonds of friendship between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Numerous possibilities! For the next generations, I present Feather Dart (far right), son of Rainbow Dash and Zephyr Breeze, and Storm Streak (far left), daughter of Rainbow Dash and Quibble Pants. Someday I may reveal the third foal, but for now a mystery. For now, some information on the pegasus siblings:

Feather Dart
Species: Pegasus
Story:
Feather Dart is the son of Rainbow Dash and Zephyr Breeze, and the result of a brief physical relationship. Dart never met his father since Zephyr left before the stallion was born, and he will never know of him since Rainbow and Fluttershy decided to not tell the boy about his father. Instead, Dart was raised mostly by Rainbow Dash, but also with tremendous help from Aunt Fluttershy. As a small colt, Dart knew he had a need for speed, and when his mother brought him to the Wonderbolt Academy, Dart knew he wanted to race. Shortly after a summer flight camp, Dart trained to earn his chance with the Wonderbolts, of which he gained right after he became of legal age. Although he is an incredible Reserve Wonderbolt and speed flyer, Dart has one major flaw that he inherited from both parents: he is lazy. Dart loves to speed race, but unless dared or he suddenly gains any wind, Dart will spend many days taking on the philosophy of "siesta". This laziness is especially pertinent during his teenage and early adulthood years, leading to his "don't care" attitude that seems almost stoic. Rainbow does not seem to bother trying to change her son anymore: she has a wild daughter to wrangle and a new foal on the way. These days, Feather Dart continues to laze around, waiting until someone dares him to race, then watch out!
Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A feathered dart. The mark symbolizes Dart's talent for speed in flying. He gained it one day as a colt while racing around at the Wonderbolts Academy.

Storm Streak
Species: Pegasus
Story:
Storm Streak is the daughter of Rainbow Dash and Quibble Pants. Although unexpected, Storm was loved by both of her parents, and even her much older half brother Feather Dart. Much to the exhaustion and frustration of both Rainbow and Quibble, Storm is almost exactly like her mother: a stubborn athlete and prankster. Storm discovered her love of pranks while trying to figure out how to gain the attention of her parents who most of the time either worked or playfully argued about the newest Daring Do. Storm pranks every pony, from her parents to a random stranger in Ponyville, and her favorite prank is scaring people with thunder clouds and lightning claps. Besides the pranks, Storm is also a gifted flyer, her talent residing in dealing with storm clouds. This talent led to her cutie mark, which she acquired at an early age. Storm is still a young school filly, and continues to prank ponies, her favorite target currently being her brother while he sleeps on a cloud.
Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A streak with a lightning bolt. The mark symbolizes Storm's name and her talent for dealing with storm clouds. This will eventually lead Storm Streak to work in weather maintenance for Ponyville, specifically in dealing with thunder storm clouds.
