Original description:What is our memory if not ourselves younger?
It is a good opportunity and excuse to draw these together. Not on one sheet of sketches but really interacting. Huggle! The little squeaker deserves a hug, she has a long journey ahead.
Of course, it reminds me of "The Kid" movie. I've last seen it years ago but I still remember some quotes from it. It's a good movie, I guess, since it leaves so much in one's heart. I think it's my favorite, most memorable part of it:
"-Okay. Don't stop. Go on.
What's it like?
-He keeps asking about his future…
My past.
Haven't really told him much.
-Good.
-"Good"? You think that's good?
Why? What would you do?
-Wh… If little Deirdre
was suddenly here…
Burstin' out of her St Mary's uniform,
askin' me what comes next?
-Yeah.
-I'd say, "Baby, don't you
worry about a thing.
Everything is just gonna be great."
I-I mean, how many of us
turn out the way we think we will
when we're kids, really?"

"What would you do if you met yourself? Would you be friends? Could you put up with yourself?"
