Having a plushy near you is never wrong — you'll always have something to cuddle and depending on your/others mood you'll not annoy another person.
I don't cuddle my plushies very often, but it feels nice to have them sitting around in case an other human isn't available for given times; or when sitting on a couch or infront of the pc idling at a movie or other internet medias
