Big Mac was one of the main suppliers of armor for the Warriors of Light and Dark. He was trained by his late father to work with metals to help repair equipment and larger tools like wheelbarrows and the like. His favorite armor to make is plate, but has been known to make mails when trying to cool his mood. If he’s found making mails excessively, there is a very good chance that he is having a bad day. The Earth pony may be on the quiet side, but he shows his emotions through his actions.

Life was slow on his family farm, Sweet Apple Acres, as an apple harvester, but it took a turn for the hectic after the Curse of Eternal Night. Since then, he’s seen his sister Applejack coming in and out of town to Canterlot, Crescent, every surrounding area he has heard of, and many he has not. He has on multiple occasions offered to help his sister and their allies on their adventures, but was rejected every time on the grounds of keeping the upkeep on the farm. The best he could do to ease his heart was to take his armoring hobby seriously, so he could always protect his baby sister and her friends as if he was there doing it himself.

His amatuer level works began to show no too soon into their journey, but by the time his armor became outclassed, his studies began to show results. The armors he began to give them were of much higher quality than those found in shops, even toward later part of their journey as his skills increased, but the armor they would procure from foes would usually be better made overall strangely. Of course, this was the logical end he was prepared for. His sister and their journey was progressing faster than he could hope to learn.

With this in mind, he spent some time with Twilight Sparkle’s Assistant, Spike to collaborate on a piece of equipment for Applejack. Initially, he made a passable pair of greaves for his sister out of spare metal that he could smelt. However, after looking at the quality of equipment she wore, he approached Spike in hopes of making leg wear that would be appropriate as a representative of their family farm. The result was a peerless pair of greaves forged from legendary metals from all corners of the world that were bathed in dragonfire.

Iron Hammer — It's actually a simple hammer for pounding metal flat. He uses it whenever he can with his works. His efforts were not unnoticed by the Celestial Sisters on their visits to his town. They took his ordinary hammer and enchanted it with a blessing that will up his quality of his finished armors.

Wheat Twig — A twig of wheat that Big Mac holds in his mouth to soothe his oral fixation. Its this or watching him chew the same piece of gum for twelve hours.
