Before I get to the pic I need to talk about it's history some since it's possible this pic won't be here long. You see this pic is essentially a recolor of one I found on Derpibooru (https://www.derpibooru.org/553913?q=artist%3Ajohnjoseco%2C+ninja) it was credited to johnjoseco and I was just wanting to try my hand at coloring it. So I tracked down his DA page and sent a note asking if they would mind me posting the pic and when they didn't respond for a few days I sent another note politely reiterating my request for permission… that first note was over a month ago. I also sent a third note over a week ago letting them know I planned to post the pic. I checked their DA pages activity tab a few times since I sent the first note and I know they had chances to see the note and respond. If they had said they didn't want me to post the pic then fine, I would have just stuck what I had back in my archives and been done with it. However, since they haven't responded I'm going to go off the assumption that they're completely neutral to the pic. If they have any issue then I'll gladly take the pic down, but until then the pic stays.

This was a fun pick to work on and it really helped to get me out of the funk that I'd been in for a while, for which I'm thankful. As mentioned above this pic was based on one found on Derpibooru (link above) and while I had to make a few tweaks to it out of necessity I think it's a pretty faithful recolor. The weapons, poses and magic effect were interesting things that I don't often include in my pics, especially the pony one. I also got creative with the pwny-fu logo since this is a coloring of another pic (also because of a sizing issue but that's beside the point).
This pic also acted as the inspiration for a series of pics that I'm working on called the Siege of Canterlot because now I've got a ninja outfit that works with ponies (though slightly altered from this version). I hope you're all looking forward to the upcoming pics and please let me know what you want included in them. Until then enjoy
