A moment from the climax of my anthro MLP dream/movie that I watched with Petina one night in my sleep. Before Luna could wield her Vulcan cannons
before Celestia could unleash the Sun Spear. The barrier around the portal had to be cracked. For that Equestria unleashed a swarm of specially manufactured magical precision munitions to shatter the wards.

However do to magical interference in the area traditional methods of guiding the munitions to target were iffy at best. So it fell to an elite group of pegasus ponies, primarily Wonderbolts, to guide the munitions to the target and then disembarking before the bombs struck. For this mission Captain Rainbow Dash was placed in charge of the first strike. Although it was against regulations RD figured this was a historic, once in a lifetime event and wore her airshow uniform for the strike. Awesome!
