Honeydew Feather is the youngest daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry.

Heather is a quiet and intelligent young lady. She is not at all sociable and she has hard times and dislikes meeting new ponies. Open and/or crowded places bother her a lot. Do not expect her to start a conversation with you on her own. No doubt she prefers to be locked in the castle's library to spend the afternoon surrounded by ponies. Still, between her few friends she is known for being kind and very nice, as well as being an anime, reading and writing enthusiast. The magnitude of the castle’s library is one of her greatest pride, and it really is hard for her to stop bragging about it, although she is very envious of Canterlot’s and the one on the Crystal Empire. Because she spends much of the day and night locked up, she does not socialize much beyond what she is forced to. There is no doubt that Twilight is desperate because her little girl makes friends beyond her books. Normally she keeps her face hidden behind her hair, but gradually she will discover it as she feels more comfortable with your presence.

Although she should be studying to become a princess someday, she hopes her brother will take over and be borne forward in the tedious task of ruling a kingdom. That does not seem to be the case.

Heather hates when her mother brings up the topic of making friends, doesn’t seem something really necessary for her, although it is not something she would shout in front of her. She sees the friendship as an equivalent exchange. It is a waste of time meeting ponies or making friends if you can’t get something out of that relationship. Of course she will not be left behind and will be willing to help in all she can and even more. She may be very exquisite when making friends, but if you get something that interests her, or maybe if you insists enough with your attempts to be friends, you will get a really loyal friend. You can’t say that she has a bad relationship with her family, but she is not really close to them, except for her parents and brother. She does not have much contact with her grandparents or uncle, although she does have a lot of contact with her cousin Flurry Heart, mainly because thanks to her she can study magic in born alicorns. Flash is a great pillar in her life and they have a very good relationship. After the accident, shere she got that scar on her face, he was the one who took care of her until her total recovery since Twilight could not afford to leave her work as princess, reason why her relation with him advanced while the one with her mother, stagnated. Twilight used to read stories with her two children before bed, possibly the sweetest memory she has of her mother. For Heather, Ceres is probably the only thing for which Heather would die. After the accident, Ceres suffered from terrible nightmares due to guilt, and Heather stayed at his side every night, sometimes without sleep, watching him at all moment. Never blamed him for anything, even though he feels the only culprit, in fact, she still maintains it was her fault. Heather is over protective with her brother, specially with those interested in mantaining a romantic relationship with him .

No doubt Dizzy Head is the only pony insistent enough to make friends with Heather without this one having any curiosity on her. There is no doubt that she is her best friend and the only connection she has with the outside world. They only quarreled once, and they did not take half an hour to reconcile. When they are not reading in the library, they are trying not to ignite the kitchen of Sugar Cube Corner, Heather is not exactly a very good baker. Another of her best friends is undoubtedly Tony, Rarity’s son. In this case Heather sought to investigate the magic in crystal ponies, since she had never had the opportunity to investigate the magic in that type of ponies. He has ended up becoming another of her best friends.

Manga and anime is one of her passions and there are not too many ponies with that same interest in Ponyville, so if you’re interested, congratulations, somepony got a new friend, now you, Heather and Okey can read them all together. Okey is like an older brother for Heather and they sure enjoy spending time together. Nopony would bet they would get along so well, but they do. Heather would never think to find another friend in Okey, Dizzy’s older brother. Both share a liking for anime, although he insists on keeping it a secret.

You can also see her writting down a lot of fanfictions. She only writes by hand and only with her honeydew feather, an extra feather that grows on her left wing. It grows periodically and doesn’t hurt at all when it’s removed. When she writes with that feather, there’s nothing or nopony that can stop her, also, it is what she uses exclusively to write her reinterpretations of the magic spells that she wants to simplify. If she ever tries to wirte anything without her feather, almost every attempt to create something, be sure that it will be a disaster or simply mediocre.

She used to enjoy the time spent with Lucky, however he began to behave strangely with her and fled when she developed her obsession for unicorns and their magic. Consider Eris as a distant cousin whom she likes to see from time to time and from whom study draconequus’ magic. There are also ponies like Joystick, Euli and Ember, whom she helps in greater or less measure. Lapis Lazuli, the only pony whose face disgusts Heahter, but that’s another story.
