It has been a while since I last uploaded any pictures from our my little pony pen and paper RPG. The game is still very active and since spring I have been acting as the game master while in our next session the adventure I game mastered is likely going to come to an end. I enjoyed thinking of and mastering an adventure which brought the other players to Cloudsdale, Trottingham and into a desolated part of the Badlands quite a bit, but I am also looking forward to play my own character, Leafhelm, again.
The reason why I didn't post any images of the game for such a long time is simply that I didn't have a suitable background for the next character to post and it took me a while to get myself together and draw one mayself.
When during last years game our group finally reached Finstersims (Dark ledge) where a not exactly hidden hideout of our nemesis was located, most of our groups character's took a straightforward approach basically knocking at the front door (which kind of made sense seeing that the location made it pretty much impossible to get there without being seen anyway). My pegasus character Leafhelm however was probably the most at guard about our antagonist (he got rather "skeptical" about our nemesis after a Zebra had shown him a vision of the fall of Canterlot in case our nemesis' plans succeed) I let my character try to sneak into the place unnoticed.
Leafhelm blundered badly when trying to sneak in, hiding in the ruin of a blown up laboratory of professor Sturm, a scientist working for our antagonist. Luckily for Leafhelm he was discovered and "caught" by Little Mane whom you can see in the picture. Little Mane is a pegasus colt of maybe five years or so, an energy bundle all through and not really old enough to understand all the things going on around him. He seems to consider the whole world and the schemes going on around him one big game. It was only much later that our group learned that Little Mane is the son of Backfire (who deserted our antagonist's organization) and Inky Page (whom we were yet to meet and who had stayed in the organization but working as kind of a double agent).
In any case Leafhelm is utterly powerless against kids and had Little Mane (cheerful as could be about having "captured" Leafhelm) insisted on taking Leafhem right to our antagonist Leafhelm probably would have resigned into this. However, talking to the kid he could instead convince Little Mane to help him and indeed the little pegasus showed Leafhelm some secret tunnels which came in really helpful.
There was a rather spectacular showdown later on. Telling it all would take up too much space here, but in any case the plan of our nemesis was foiled while he and his followers (including Little Mane) left. We would see this little pegasus again though
