Zap Apple Dash, or Dash, as she prefers to go by, is an earth pony built for speed — and with a need for speed as well. Aside from running Sweet Apple Acres and napping, a lot of her time is taken up by honing her skills when it comes to racing, or otherwise participating in them. She's daring and mischievous, and is an incurable prankster, loving to play practical jokes on her friends whenever she can. Still, Zap Apple Dash learned from a young age when to tell when a prank is being taken too far, and makes it her mission to get ponies to laugh WITH her, not to laugh AT them.

She is the bearer of the Element of Cheer. (aka Laughter)
