Laughing Water is a shaman of Chief Thunderhooves' tribe. After the buffalo befriended the ponies of Appaloosa, she was sent out by the chief to learn the ways of the ponies and bring that knowledge back to the tribe after a time. She is more than happy to share her tribe's customs with the new friends she meets along the way.
