This is my custom edit of an Equestria Girls base of Joseph Merrick, aka, The Elephant Man.

The real Merrick was born in 1862, and suffered from huge growths all over his body.
It is believed his deformities began just before he turned 2. He joined freak shows and was discovered by an English doctor, Frederick Treves, who studied his deformities, and became good friends with Joseph.

After he was swarmed by people at Liverpool Street Station, he was given his own permanent rooms at London Hospital.
He passed away in 1890 from a dislocated neck.

Even today, it is unknown exactly what caused his growths and 'tumours', but it is thought he either had Proteus Syndrome, neurofibromatosis type 1, or both.

This vector is based on my own knowledge and a photograph from the 1980 movie 'The Elephant Man' starring John Hurt.
