- Topsy Turvy is the first born and only daughter of Discord and Celestia. Although named after disorder, Topsy is the spitting image of her mother personality wise. She is kind, gentle, wise and will do anything for her subjects. She was ready to take full responsibility as Princess as soon as she was able to understand what being a Princess meant.

- When she was a filly, many other fillies and colts her age were intimidated by her. Especially by the swirls in her eyes, they scared them, even though Topsy tried to convince them it was just how her eyes were and that she wasn't trying to put a spell on them or hypnotize anyone.

- Although most foals ran from her, there were many others who thought it funny to tease her for it. Of course Topsy's brother, Chaos Cross, wasn't having that. Even the foals who weren't scared of Topsy were scared of Cross, and he didn't care if they were or not. He protected Topsy; that's what mattered. As they got older, the teasing and running stopped and ponies came to love the hybrid royals; but Chaos Cross never stopped protecting Topsy and their little brother, Kerfuffle too.

- Topsy is a bit awkward when it comes to making friends because of how they treated her as a foal. She wants to make friends, and even tries to make the first move, but when she goes to say something her voice jumbles up and she finds herself blushing like a mad woman in embarressment instead. This leads to a lot of clutzy antics and accidental occurances. Topsy is so used to it though, she just laughs it off when she screws up.

- Although not into chaos magic like her father and brothers, they still have a close relationship. Topsy likes watching her father play tricks of chaos, and seeing the strange creatures and creations he could come up with. When she was a filly her favorites were the cotton candy clouds, but she preferred strawberry milk rain over chocolate.

- Topsy's relationhships with her cousins depends on who she's with. Topsy and Nightfly get along fine, few words; but they can sit in a room together and not feel awkward. Topsy and Serene get along perfectly, almost like the two were from the same being. Topsy and Acheron don't really have all that much in common, seeing as they aren't related by blood but by marriage, that isn't a surprise to her. She gets annoyed at him every so often, but he's still family; So she deals with it. And with Vesper, Topsy admires him. She admires his patience and understanding.

- Topsy Turvy secretly has a crush on somepony, but she has yet to reveal who to anyone.
