This is from a story I'm thinking about in which Catrina decide to go back to Abissinia after being away for centuries only to find the capital in ruin and under the control of storm guards who deserted the storm king's army after their last trip to Abyssinia.
She gives them a chance to go away peacefully, they laugh at her, and now they pay for their lack of vision.
