- Euphony is the second born daughter of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Named for a namesake for her mother, Euphony is just as gently and kind as her mother, but independant and strong hearted like her father. (And another pony named after Twilight)

- When Euphony was a filly, she tried her best to get on Flurry's good side; despite Flurry pretty much bullying her for most of their fillyhood. Euphony knew she cared about her deep down, she just had to get to it.

- Euphony has the power to sooth the angry hearts of ponies with her voice; singing. Even if it's just a simple melody without words, the magic of her voice can warm the hearts of anypony. She became a peacemaker and symbol of hope to the Crystal Empire. This made Flurry Heart jealous of her sister's newly found admiration, and eventually led to Flurry turning to hatred and stealing the Crystal Heart for herself, bringing endless snow to the Empire once more. Pushing aside all her memories and hurt feelings towards how Flurry treated her their entire lives, Euphony did the only thing she knew how to do — Comfort and warm her heart. She flew through the storm and grabbed Flurry, refusing to let go until the inevitable break down which lead to Flurry Heart apologizing to everyone for making a huge mistake.

- Euphony's best friend is her cousin, Nova. The two of them don't get to see each other as much as they used to, but when they do the two of them are inseperable. She was Nova's Mare of Honor at her wedding, and is always the one Nova goes to when she needs advice or help. (When Apple Spritz isn't around at least)

- Like Nova, being second born provided her with a lot more freedom than their older siblings received. Euphony loved soaring around Equestria, bringing joy to any pony or creature she came across.

- Euphony was given a personal body guard by the name of Ice Lance. Because she was such an adventurous pony, her parents felt the need to require Lance to keep an eye on her when she's out and about and to accompany her where ever she went. Euphony didn't mind, she actually kinda liked having Lance around. He was somepony to talk to when she was feeling lonely. Plus, he made her laugh with his awkwardness.
