what was a simple suggestion by Zharkaer turned out to be a nightmare when i misinterpreted some details (there are three stripes in the elytra, not two) due to the small reference pic and the really atrocious color scheme (went with what corresponds the most to what).
in some ways, the evolved form of the battle hopper changedling.
