Backstory:

Fried Fillet was born on the 6th of November 979, making her 29 years old as of MLP:FiM Season 8 (implying 1 season = 1 year). She is a unicorn mare born to a family of fishers in Baltimare, her father wanted a son, but he didn’t mind having a daughter. Her mother managed the finances and such of their family fishing company while her dad took her out onto the water to catch the fish they would later sell or consume, it was here that she got her interest in fishing as well as learning how to manage a business from her mother.

Once she had finished school with average grades, she moved to Ponyville and with the help of her parents opened a fast food restaurant named "Fried Fish Shop" that centred around fried fish, hence the name, but it had sold other products such as hayburgers. She’s managed the business herself ever since the shop opened in 998.
