Finally started studying realistic horse anatomy, something I've wanted to do for a long time because I know it'll help me improve, but I was too intimidated to try it. But a new year means no fear! Or something like that. So I just buckled down and made myself do it (although I only did one reference study so not much practice yet haha), and then I sketched out a doodle to try and apply what I learned. I liked the sketch enough to wanna upload it, so I kept working on it and ended up turning it into a Changeling OC. I don't like the new changeling looks, I'm going to pretend that never happened..

So this is Reyna. She likes to try and act cool but she's actually kind of dorky and awkward. The text is from the song Life Itself by Glass Animals. I'm so glad Sai2 has a text tool, I love playing around with fonts so I'm definitely going to be using it a lot. I ended up changing the font of the word 'breathe' so many times that it stopped looking like a word though (and then just ended up leaving it the same font as the rest of the quote).

I'm actually not 100% sold on the name Reyna for her yet so I'd be happy to hear other name suggestions!
