For a few short years, Lady used an illusion spell to hide her wings and change the appearance of her draconic eyes. In doing so, she was able to walk among normal ponies and did dances in the streets for bits (while pickpocketing them as well) to help take care of herself and Mako. Eventually this little trick was found out, leading to an unfortunate incident that changed how Lady did things to survive…
