History:

Rainbow Dash gave birth to Overcast after moving to Cloudsdale with Soarin. A few years later she returned to Ponyville as a response to Princess Twilight's summon. Twilight revealed that she wanted to establish a Ponyville branch for the Wonderbolts and wanted Rainbow Dash as their leader. However at that point Rainbow Dash was pregnant with Prism Bolt and as a result, Soarin took the position. At least two years after Prism was born, Rainbow accepted the leader position. Many years later, Icy Storm was born a few days after Prism Bolt was accepted into the Wonderbolts Academy and Overcast became a physical trainer.
